Blood Samples
Blood samples can be sent to us during the year at any time. Please refer to the following instructions and FAQ below.
WHAT IS THE TEST?
If you are concerned about pigeon lung allergy we strongly advise you to discuss this with your GP first. A diagnosis of pigeon lung is made by your doctor and the blood test result is only a part of this decision.
The blood test that we provide is now widely available in Hospital Service laboratories so your GP might prefer to use these familiar services instead.
If there is no local service and your GP approves and takes a blood sample we can provide this blood test in our research lab.
