BPF GILD
In 2019, we started a new and exciting research study called the BPF GILD.
The team grew significantly and a new set of principal investigators took over to run the study.

All enrolment from our visit to the Blackpool show 2019 and onwards will be part of the BPF GILD study and we are seeking 500 participants as part of this. The study will run until 2024.
The first two major outings of the team were a huge success and to quote from Louise's article: (read full article here)
"The first recruitment event for BPF-GILD took place in January 2019 where 178 fanciers gave up their time (and a small volume of blood) to participate. With the new joiners from Lanark, this brings the study population to 240, almost halfway towards our goal of 500 by January 2024."
